Beechworth Bakery Street Festival Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoters of this competition are:

• Beechworth Bakery (ABN 267 803 904 46)

• Southern Cross Austereo Pty Ltd (ABN 78 109 243 110)

2. Eligibility

• The competition is open to residents of NSW and VIC, Australia.

• Entrants must be 18 years or older at the time of entry.

• Employees and immediate family members of Beechworth Bakery, Southern Cross Austereo, and associated entities are ineligible to enter.

3. Competition Period

• The competition opens on 08 October 2024 at 00:01 AEST and closes on 17 October 2024 at 23:59 AEST.

4. How to Enter

• Participants must visit the competition website, complete the entry form with their personal details, and submit their favourite Beechworth Bakery memory.

• Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple or duplicate entries will result in disqualification.

5. Judging

• This is a game of skill. Each entry will be judged based on creativity, emotional connection, and how well the memory captures the essence of Beechworth Bakery.

• The judges are looking for memories that express the heart and warmth of personal experiences at Beechworth Bakery—moments that show how the bakery has been part of your life, whether through a family tradition, a special celebration, or a meaningful connection.

• The winner will be selected by a panel of judges within 7 days of the competition closing. The decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Prize

One (1) Major Prize Winner will receive:

• Accommodation at the Armour Inn (Voucher for 1 night midweek - Sunday to Thursday, subject to availability. Not valid on the night of the festival).

• Dinner at Bridge Road Brewery (Valid on the night of stay).

• Breakfast at Beechworth Bakery (Valid on the morning of stay).

• Beechworth Bakery Cooking Experience (Valid during the stay).

• Coca Cola Esky filled with Beechworth Bakery treats and local produce (Can be collected any time after the winner is announced).

• The total prize value is approximately AUD $500.

7. Prize Conditions

• Accommodation is subject to availability and must be booked directly with the Armour Inn. Excludes public holidays and weekends unless otherwise stated.

• Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash.

• If a prize is unavailable for any reason, the promoters reserve the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.

8. Winner Notification

• The winner will be notified by email and phone using the contact details provided at entry.

• If the winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, the promoters reserve the right to select an alternative winner.

9. Privacy and Data Collection

• By entering the competition, participants agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information by the promoters for the purpose of administering the competition and any associated promotions.

• Personal information may also be used for future marketing purposes, unless the participant opts out. For more details on how the promoters handle personal data, please refer to their respective Privacy Policies.

10. General Conditions

• The promoters reserve the right to disqualify any participant found to be in violation of these terms and conditions.

• The promoters' decisions regarding all matters related to the competition are final and binding, with no correspondence to be entered into.

11. Liability

• The promoters accept no responsibility for any lost, late, or misdirected entries.

• The promoters will not be liable for any loss or damage sustained in connection with the competition or the prize, except where required by law.
